Learn to prepare some of Chef Gaby Green's favorite recipes in a fun, hands-on cooking class. Reserve your private class in our Covid-safe environment.  A native of Mexico City, Gaby will teach you how to make authentic Mexican dishes while utilizing fresh, local ingredients. You will hear the origins of unique dishes and ingredients while Gaby shares lots of interesting stories from her family's kitchen.

Schedule your own private cooking class in Chef Gaby Green's brand new teaching kitchen. Gaby will create a menu specifically for you and your family or friends. Gaby can even offer vegetarian and vegan options of traditional Mexican recipes.  Each class is hands-on, allowing every student to do as much as you would like. From a novice to a seasoned cook, Gaby will help you master regional recipes that you can bring back to your own kitchen. 

Great for individuals, families and friends! You will learn how to make some of Gaby’s favorite dishes – chiles rellenos, cochinita pibil, fish veracruzana, ceviche, sopa de tortilla and even make handmade tortillas with your kids. Gaby will discuss several menu options with you based on what you would like to learn. 

Taste, smell and experience the Mexican culture through its vibrant cuisine using traditional techniques and ingredients. You will also receive the recipes from your class so you can make your own authentic Mexican dishes at home. Bring your questions and curiosity, as well as a big appetite! You'll enjoy a Mexican comida with the chef after you prepare a delicious meal. 

COST: $150 USD per person, MAXIMUM 8 PEOPLE, includes private transportation. Best days are Tuesdays or Thursdays.
50% deposit via PayPal is required in advance to reserve your class. 
Remaining balance to be paid in cash, day of your class (USD or MX pesos). 

INCLUDES: Hands-on instruction, recipes, prepared meal and beer or margarita. Non-alcoholic beverages are always available. 

ADD-ON:  Mexican wines or tequila/mezcal tastings, $25 USD, per person

DURATION: class and meal, approx. 4-5 hours 
RESERVATIONS:  Chef Gaby schedules all classes privately, so please email for availability. 

CANCELLATIONS: More than 1 week notice: 50% deposit is non-refundable. Less than 1 week notice: 100% non-refundable, but Gaby will attempt to reschedule if cancelation is necessary.
